For the past couple weeks, I’ve been conducting the inaugural Gardening by the Moon science experiment. Or rather, two concurrent experiments, using nearly identical methods but different varieties of beans and locations for planting.

Maxx and I did the first two plantings on July 7 and 9, with the waxing moon in Libra and Scorpio respectively. The third planting, with the waning moon in Aries, we did this morning, just before the moon went into void for a few hours.

So far, the Libra and Scorpio beans are all doing well, with the Scorpio beans doing just a tad better. I’m excited to see how they stack up against barren Aries, and to share my findings with you all.

Expect graphs.

Happy Gardening!
