Shipping and Return Policy

Order Processing

Digital files are available for immediate download, through a link in your confirmation email or the My Account link in the About section of the navigation bar.

Orders of printed calendars and other physical items are processed within 1-3 business days of purchase and shipped through USPS (we chose this publicly-owned carrier to avoid the rural surcharges of the privately-owned carriers). You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of purchase and a shipment notification email after your package is sent.

Please review your order carefully before placing it , including shipment methods. Order are often packaged and shipped within minutes or hours of being placed. If your order has already been packaged and shipped, changes will not be possible, including to your method of shipment.

If you need to change your shipping method or address, you made an error when placing your order, or you have any other problems with your order, please email office@GardeningByTheMoon.com right away. For fastest response include your name and order number.

Returns

Wall Calendars – If you’re not absolutely delighted with your printed wall calendar, you may return it for a refund or exchange. Please note that you, the customer, are responsible for shipping on all refunds and exchanges, and that your refund or exchange will not be processed until we receive the returned item. If you do not receive your calendar by the expected delivery date (in your shipment email under tracking information) please contact us for a replacement. Calendars lost or damaged in shipment will be replaced rather than refunded.

Digital Downloads – There are no refunds or exchanges on digital purchases—if you are not sure which version of the calendar is right for you, please contact us prior to placing your order and we’ll be happy to help. Please bear in mind that we are a very small company and it may take a few days for us to get back to you.

ALL REFUNDS will be issued in the form of store credit.

Shipping Methods

All shipments, whether domestic or international, include tracking. ONLY Priority Mail packages include insurance against damage (water, folding, tearing), loss, and theft. Tracking information will be sent to you via a link in an automatically generated email. If you cannot find the email, please check your spam/junk folder.

USPS First Ground Advantage – Tracking is included but insurance is not. USPS Ground Advantage packages ship in rigid fold-resistant cardboard mailers. This cost-effective option is available in the United States, including Puerto Rico, and in Canada for smaller orders only.

USPS Priority Domestic – Tracking and insurance are included with all USPS Priority shipments. Within the United States, ship up to 8 calendars for only $8, and up to 48 calendars for only $15.

USPS Priority International – Tracking and insurance are included with all USPS Priority shipments. We ship internationally to USPS Priority Flat Rate Price Groups 1 and 2. You can ship up to 8 calendars for the same price—$30 for Price Group 1 (Canada) and $36 for Price Group 2 (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay). We highly recommend getting together with your friends and saving on shipping by placing one group order! If you have a REALLY big group of friends (or if you’re interested in wholesale!) larger orders of up to 48 calendars can be sent to Canada for $60 and to the Price Group 2 countries for $70. And if such a high cost of shipping is too much for you, we understand—and offer digital options!

Free Shipping Coupons – If you have a coupon code for free shipping, you must BOTH enter the coupon code AND select the free shipping option during checkout.

Shipping Materials

All of our packing and shipping materials are recyclable AND compostable, except for the USPS Flat Rate Envelopes, which are recyclable. Recycling any of our packaging is a great choice, but if you do choose to use it in the garden (I make a lot of my garden paths by laying down cardboard and sawdust between vegetable beds!), the adhesives on the USPS flat rate envelopes and on the brown cardboard mailers are biodegradable, though you’ll probably want to remove the postage label (at the time we purchased them, we were unable to find labels that worked for us with plant-based adhesives, but we look forward to transitioning to biodegradable postage labels as soon as we use up this batch).

All of our packages are labeled with worker-friendly, worm-friendly low VOC inks.

Happy gardening!
